Using digital imaging from a cone beam computed tomography system (CBCT), Dr. Nijhawan determines precisely where your implant needs to be placed. Inserting the implant at the proper location and angle helps it remain secure and able to support your dental implant restoration. Following his thorough planning, Dr. Nijhawan surgically places your implant.

Typically, your mouth is allowed to fully heal from your surgery before we place your custom-fitted restoration. The healing process can take eight to twelve weeks. Our dental office team will schedule your follow up appointments and we are available should you have any unexpected postoperative discomfort.

Extractions to Support Your Oral health

We may need to extract a tooth that is failing, or to create space for a more effective implant restoration. Our goal is to preserve your natural teeth for as long as possible.
